To ensure you can remain fully present as you head toward your "New Horizons," we’ve mapped out our journey with you - from our first "Hello!" to the moment your final heirlooms arrive at your doorstep.

Their story took us from the high-altitude vistas of Arkansas for their engagement adventure session to a beautiful, historic celebration at The Katy Depot right here in our home base of Denison, TX. Whether we are in a historic rail station or on a mountain ridgeline, our goal remains: providing total presence and peace of mind from beginning to end.

PART I - THE APPROACH
[ 1 / 10 ] The Trailhead (Inquiry & Discovery)
Your journey begins the moment you reach out. We value your time, so we aim to have our Investment Guide in your inbox within a few hours. If our work speaks to you, we’ll jump on a Discovery Call to ensure our "unified front" approach is the right vibe for your story.
[ 2 / 10 ] Making it Official (Getting Booked)
Once we’re a match, the "Executive Decompression" begins. We handle the "red tape" so you can focus on the excitement. Your digital proposal includes your custom Service Agreement and Model & Property Releases. To keep our calendar organized and officially secure your wedding date, we require both partners to sign these trail markers and submit your 20% non-refundable retainer within 48 to 72 hours. Once both pieces are in, your date is completely off the market.
[ 3 / 10 ] The Engagement Session Design
We don't just show up on the wedding day; we prepare for the terrain.
The Adventure Session: 4–6 months out, we design your engagement session. We'll email your Engagement Session Questionnaire to learn what you have in mind, or what sounds like you, what environment you both thrive in together. Whether it’s a daytime adventure, our exclusive Stargazing Experience, or our signature Blend (Sunset to Starlight), a Main Street stroll, or an at-home board game session. We'll handle any scouting and pre-planning necessary to ensure your session with us is smooth and focused on your wild love story.
Stewardship: We are committed to protecting the wild places in which we photograph. We strictly follow Leave No Trace (LNT) Principles to ensure these landscapes remain pristine. We value and respect the natural ecosystems that we explore with you and aim to serve couples who share these same values.
Permit-Savvy Planning: From the Rockies to the PNW, we can guide you through the National Park Special Use Permit process so your legacy is preserved legally and ethically.
Part II: The Prep & The Peak
[ 4 / 10 ] The 60-Day Check-In
Two months before the wedding, we send your Pre-Wedding Questionnaire. This gives you plenty of time to gather your final vendor list and family photo groupings, allowing us to build a strategy that serves you - and your family - well. Your completed questionnaire and your remaining balance are due at the 30-day mark, ensuring all logistics and administrative details are completely cleared away before the final countdown.
[ 5 / 10 ] The Timeline Strategy Call
2–4 weeks before the "Ascent," we finalize your map using your completed questionnaire details. We scout venue conditions, check exact sunset times, and calculate the perfect windows for "Golden Hour" portraits and your "Astro-Escape" based on light pollution and moon phase, if applicable for your wedding day location.
[ 6 / 10 ] The Ascent (The Wedding Day)
The big day is here. Jon and Heather work as a synchronized team. While one captures the grand scale of your chosen backdrop (like the historic architecture of the Katy Depot), the other protects the quiet, candid emotional moments happening within it.
Part III: The Return & The Legacy
[ 7 / 10 ] The Basecamp Signal (Sneak Peeks)
The adventure doesn't end with the Grand Exit! Within 72 hours, you’ll have 20+ high-impact images in your inbox to share while the wedding high is still fresh.
[ 8 / 10 ] The Editing Update
Around two weeks post-wedding, we’ll provide a progress update via email on our editing process. We believe in proactive stewardship of your memories - you'll never have to wonder where your photos are. Also with this email, we will send a request to schedule your Gallery Reveal Session within the next few weeks.
[ 9 / 10 ] The Gallery Reveal & Design Session (The Premiere)
4 - 6 weeks later, we host your Gallery Reveal Session. We view your full story together as a Slideshow Video and help you design museum-quality heirlooms. This is where you sign the Product Delivery & Acceptance Agreement, officially transitioning your digital legacy into your hands. We'll deliver your Gallery link via email and you can now begin ordering prints, photobooks, or albums. We are so happy to help assist you in the image selecting and album design process. Each Collection comes with an Heirloom Print credit, and we want to ensure you use yours with confidence!
[ 10 / 10 ] Product Delivery & The Final Legacy
Once your custom prints arrive, you have a 7-day window to inspect your physical heirlooms. But even then, the trail doesn't end. You’ll receive an invitation to join the "Pack Forever" for future anniversary adventures and to commemorate milestones along your journey.
